Got an invite from Lee and Kevin to head out for some spade action.
We hit the slack tide and the bite was on before everyone had a line in the water. I caught my first spade ever and he was a healthy 11.5 inches. I went on to catch two just over 14, one 16 and one 16.5 inch beast. I couldn’t believe the fight these guys put up. The small one had a few small runs burning some line off while the 16 inchers did what they pleased taking as much line as they wanted at times. Before I knew it we had limited out before noon and headed back home.
